Default 75cc Extra 260 In Stock!

I just noticed on the AeroWorks website that the 75cc Extra 260 is now listed as "in stock." Has anyone received confirmation of shipping yet? I have been watching this plane since the AMA show, it is beautiful. I am looking forward to build and flight reports. Bodywerks, aren't you on the list?

Yes the container arrived last night and was unloaded today! The airplanes look great and will begin shipping soon. I will be building one for a friend and if possible i will post pics as I go.

Steve, yes, I am on the list. It won't be electric - it'll have the DA-85 and possibly a CF cannister.

Nick,
I agree that it should be incredible with the DA-85 up front. I have gotten to the point of going gas on everything above about 12lbs. Gas is better for the big planes.

Bodywerks, what CF canister are you referring too. I've been looking for canister options for a DA-85 and have found none....and seems like the DA 85 's are scarce too.
Thanks

If anybody's interested in a 3W 75i... let me know... I'll sell mine (less than 10 flights), rear carb with air filter and Cactus Aviation engine mount for .... $500. It should go GREAT in this plane. I just ordered a Comp ARF a few weeks ago, and I'm going to go with another engine.

Well, that's why I said "possibly". Currently, the guy that distributes EVO (not Evolution) engines is working on a hybrid CF/aluminum can, and the guys at www.escomposites.com are also working on a CF cannister- gave no word on when/if they would ever be available, though. Or, if I get a real wild hair up my bum, I have all the materials at work to make one myself, except the high-temp epoxy. You need stuff that can handle 400°F+ temps. I think our stuff is only good for up to around 250°F.
