The Landing gear has been reinforced with L-Bracket to keep you flying even after those "not so perfect" landings. Please post here, call or, email us if you have any questions.

Very nice.......I'd like to see it in a 40% size.

I can't seem to buy these small planes anymore since I've gone to the big ones

Beautiful! I like those flying wires as they really square up everything. I'm just curious how the horizontal stab is attached. Is it removable or is it epoxied in?

Great looking plane! Can't wait to get one!

"flying wires" - where, there aren't any. Cabane struts and Interplane struts only as far as I can see.:D

Bring that out in a 100cc version and I am all over it. Just be sure to make it available in an ARC version please, I don't buy completed ARF's anymore! and Yes, I would pre-order one if you are going to make a 100CC version! Just be sure to make it so that we can install canisters, got to keep the noise down nowadays!

They are on the water now and hope to have them around the end of December. Yes there is a pre-order list it does not require a deposit but just holds a plane for you until we call to confirm your order when the planes arrive.

I'm planning on e-powering mine and I'm starting to gather up all of the components. Do you think a pair of 8711"s w/slave struts will be ok for the ailerons or should I use 4 servo's?

Danny

RE: New Pitts Python Pics

Danny,
I would still use 4 servos, the ailerons on this airplane are very large and need to be supported with their own servo. Please let us know how the electric conversion goes!

Mark, honest opinion... good IMAC plane?!?

RE: New Pitts Python Pics

Honestly I think the plane would do well up through intermidiate I put it through the sequence a few times and it handled well. I think for Advanced and Unlimited however ANY 50cc wont work out to well. What class did you plan on flying?

I am going to start in basic this year... hope to maybe go to sportsman and no more.... I was set on the 260.. but this plane looks bad ass... The video doesn't show it 3d'ing much.. is it as good as the 260, or is the 260 going to be a more versatile plane?

reyn3545 12-03-2007 10:19 PM

RE: New Pitts Python Pics

I got the Chief catalog also... but be careful, they will always make up the difference on their shipping charges! Chief's website does still show the plane for $699. AW is straight up about the price and shipping.. no suprises. I understand the support the distribution model, I just wish a couple of resellers would quit taking consumers for idiots.
