Yak 50cc smoke
Getting close to maidening my new 50cc Yak, as you know a smoke tank is included. I've never used smoke before but maybe this time (might help show errors in my flight path as I practice the sequences?). In any case, can someone post a picture of how they installed the tank? I'm asuming it just has to go ahead of the fuel tank (not much space elsewhere).
Also, there are were a dozen or so aluminum spacers about 1/4" thick, couldn't find anything on the CD about them. I'd guess they are for custom engine mounting if your not using the one piece standoffs. I'll close by saying "Wow!" I've had a number of 50cc ARFs, but this is by far the best I've ever seen. |
RE: Yak 50cc smoke
If you are impressed by the Yak on the ground, wait til you get it in the air! This bird has the complete package. The slow speed handling of the Yak is what impresses me the most.

RE: Yak 50cc smoke
I am installing a smaller main tank and placeing the smoke tank next to it... The spacers are for moving your motor OUT off the firewall to line up your cowl... YES, mine also is the cleanest and best well built ARF I have ever owned... HAVING FUN PUTTING THIS ONE TOGETHER....:) |
