Last flight of Discovery
After almost three decades of service and over one hundred and forty million miles traveled, STS-133 blasted off from the Kenedy space ctr. on it's final mission today.
http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/...ht/?test=faces In my opinion this is a bitter sweet event in history as it reminds me of how proud I am to be an American and at the same time how sad it is the shuttle program is drawing to a close. I am saddened that the best days at Cape Canaveral are behind us.... Randy |
RE: Last flight of Discovery
We got to see it come over the flying field a few moments after launch today. Awesome sight.
