Thunderbird problem today
 

Today at the oklahoma airshow in muskogee, ok Thunderbird 4 had a mechanical difficulty very early in the show. He broke out of formation, dumped fuel, and landed safely. The cause of the problem is unknown at this time. If anyone know what the cause of the problem was please share. The whole ordeal delayed the show about 30 minutes while thunderbird 4 switched to a backup aircraft and rejoined the formation.

I'm just glad nothing major happened like last year. I'd like to see these guys this year.

The news last night said the thunderbirds said that the problem was very minor. I also learned today that the f-16 cannot dump fuel so something was coming out of the right wing, i wasnt smoke or contrails. i thought it was fuel.
