Default sd-6g receiver battery



IS IT OK TO USE A 6.0V NI-MH BATTERY PACK WITH ANALOG SERVOS WITHOUT A REGULATOR?

You should be fine with 6V NiCad or NiMh unregulated, you will find regulators in use once you move to a lithium based battery.

Just to confirm...:

All Airtronics FHSS1 receivers and all of our servos (except the HVS series) will work fine with a 4-5 cell nicd or nimh battery or a 2 cell Li-FE/A123 voltage range battery but no higher.

They do NOT work with a 2S li-po or li-on direct. Those power sources will need a regulator.

Note that FHSS3 receivers and the HVS servos will ALSO handle a 2S Li-po and Li-on direct with no voltage regulator.
