Default Old Airtronics Servo Compatability

I just got an Airtronics SD-10G transmitter with a 92674 7 channel receiver. Will older Airtronics analog servo's work with this receiver? If they will work do I just need to change out the connectors and put on Z's?

Trey

Hello,

Those servos will work with any of the ATX FH1 receivers like the 92674. You'll just need to change the connectors, making sure to double-check polarity. They more than likely won't work with the ATX FH3 receivers.

Best regards,
Todd

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for.

Todd is right about the FH3 receivers but they will work with FH1 receivers just fine.

I'll think about that but I might just connect the Z connectors directly to the servo wires and eliminate the extra connector and wire.

Can't you just unclip the pins from the housing and swap the wires? I don't have any old airtronics stuff but every other servo connector I have is easily disassembled with the tip of a hobby knife.

I think you can do that, I just thought someone might have a bulk package of the connectors sans wires. Might save a few bucks. I'll probably go ahead and get a handful of the servo wires with Z connectors and do the swap.

Of course you can - done it many times. Why pay $5 when you can changed the connector wires around for nothing?
