loss of throttle response

i have a rds 8000 2.4 and flying the other day I notice I lost my throttle it went down to just above an idle . I see that page 18 failsafe it says that the servo is free (not powered ) if the signal is lost and I suspect my tx battery to be the problem. Is it possible thats what happened to me ? When I landed everything was working perfect I checked the sx arm and barrel and all looks great . Please advise if possible .
Thank you ,
Ken

RE: loss of throttle response

Is the throttle working now?

You might want to contact service directly and walk-through exactly what happened. Yes, if the tx battery was low enough, you could experience enough of a range decrease to put the receiver into failsafe, but we'd need more information to accurately assess what happened.
