Thanks for posting, explains it pretty well.
We have until January 20, 2016 to register for free, after until March 31, 2016 for $5.00.
Nice to see commercial UAS and hobby UAS differ, and model aircraft separate.
Those who fear the bogey man behind the screen will likely sound off but the whole process seems reasonable to me. There will now be a process, if followed, to locate serious offenders. Substantial fines and penalties can be applied either way if a serious event occurs by both registered and non-registered.
Better to register than not.
