This type of testing was never done with traditional RC plane flying as far as I know
Of course with MR/Drones, this was bound to happen; just going to lead to more oversight and restrictions meant for MR/Drones, that will blanket cover all RC flying endeavors.

They should put some gelatin eyeballs in his head filled with fake blood and watch them splatter all over, at least then it would be somewhat entertaining. It would also make a much better news story. In the US we hate nipples but we LOVE to chop a body to pieces!

The physics don't lie. Note how the head snaps back? Also, this doesn't even account for the cutting / slicing damage. Just imagine a 55lb sUAS at 200 mph hitting it.
Added: BTW, this is the VT study that's funded by the FAA. The data will go to them. This is the same major project that's looking at similar impacts on regional airliner windows, structures, and engines.

Given that the testing was done on a football field they should compare the impacts to playing football. From the looks of the video a drone impact looks to be far less than football.
