Default 50 days & no EC minutes? 7 days & counting to "proof?"

The last EC meeting was held on 1 August.

As of 13 September, the ED said they're being "proofed."

50 days (and counting) to prepare and publish less than 4,000 words (typically)?
7 days (and counting) to "proof" less than 4,000 words?

It's either paying someone to do a job that's not getting done promptly, tolerance of mediocrity by ED, or the ED / Dear Leader / EC deliberately keeping members in the dark. I don't care which one, I just wish they'd be open about it.

Yeah, I saw that this morning.

Wow. Some really scary discussions in there. No clear strategy and vision of what they want to be, do, prioritize. Examples:
- Spending proposals inconsistent with statements about importance of other needs discussed just minutes earlier.
- Staff tasked by EC to research one approach, yet ED decides on his own authority to do something completely different.
- EC allowing groups to pat themselves on the back for performance that's clearly below the curve necessary to meet the objective
- Continuing to spend money at "Taj-Muncie" despite knowing or should know that overwhelming majority of members don't use it
- Thinly veiled language that normally indicates hiring more people at "Taj-Muncie" rather than put money in the field
- Etc.

And the best part? After 7 days of "proofing," there were still errors.
