NOTAMs failure grounds all US flights this AM
Anyone see this news?

It'll be interesting when the reason is made public, , , make that if, if it involves something "they" don't want us to know about........
(Figured it deserved it's own thread, VS being in the "Breaking Rules" thread )

Thank You for the response Scale, I rather like the idea of an accidental computer brainfart VS some Ahole deliberately hacking/corrupting it.
In a day & age where we've got jerks sabotaging power substations it's all to easy to become skeptical of the nature of any mass disruption event.....

I can't look at any information that comes from this administration or their single party loyal news agencies and take the reasons as to why things happen seriously.
Well at least they did'nt try to call this snafu something totally ridiculous like..... "THE WORST ATTACK ON US SOIL SINCE PEARL HARBOR"

This was a ground stop on departing flights, this has nothing to do with model operations. It wasn't like 9-11 where all flights were ordered to land at the nearest airport and an air defense emergency declared. We (AMA) received nothing that I'm aware of grounding model operations. I was flying while all this was going on.
I mean, maybe they issued a NOTAM
