Default Notice to members :sacramento area modelers

Hi there,

If you read the June 2005 newsletter and the Nov 2005 newsletter at www.sacramento-rc-flyers.org,

You might notice that the folks that helped out at the fireworks booth are getting free pizza in June
and A dinner at the clubs XMAS party on the memberships dime in December.

Double dipping for the same job???
I guess the self appointed ruling class can do as they please.

Any Membership approval on that freebee???
Any vote taken?

I am really getting to like this cross posting stuff. Apparently, you did not get enough reaction in the pylon forum to suit you. Why don't you try the clubhouse? Usually there are more people reading posts and willing to respond than here.

Whining? You truly take me wrong. Both Horrace and I have done it. I really am glad to see that the rules on RCU have changed. Honest. Open your imagination and think about how much more effective the AMA forum will be when polls are placed and pointers are put in all the forums. I was serious about the clubhouse too, it's probably the most read forum on RCU.

I'd probably quit posting on RCU if there were less people like you that only seem to be able to add "me too" to the discussions. Try starting a thread more often. It's really not that hard. honest.

How are they the "self appointed" ruling class? Were they not voted in?
The people that manned the booth, was that part of the deal that was originally struck?
How many people are we talking here and what is the monetary amount being discussed?

You make it sound like it's thousands of dollars when in fact it is probably more like a hundred.

If things are so bad and these people so corrupt why do you so desperately want back in? If the populace of the club does not vote these people out, you being there is sure not going to get it done. Also, for the record. If there are 200 people in the club and only 20 show up to make their voices heard, then thats your concerned majority. If the others can't be bothered then they must like things just the way they are.

Sounds like someone is jealous after they were too lazy to work for the club to me.

The notice was for the members of the sacramento area modelers ....not for:

people in other states who do not what the hell is going on.

people speaking out of ignorance of issues they know nothing of.

Hitler was also elected (by The german majority) in 1939

Is there some underlying AMA issue to be discussed here, or are you just looking for a soap box?

Were you amongst that majority?

You've brought lawyers into your 'cause' before, so why not now? They will be most willing to hear and sympathize with your tale of woe - for $100+ per hour.

John, if the club is as dysfunctional as you describe, then it will eventually implode upon itself someday. In the time being, try to just enjoy the hobby for what it's worth and establish friendships that club politics has no bearing against. If your beef is legit, then by all means do what you can to get the word out, [last time I checked, we all still live in AMERICA]. The guys who think they have poses+seion

The difference is that they are ABLE to shoot you down here, without having the RIGHT to do so.

Oh really? Well guess what, when you bring it here, its fair game...capish?
Were those uncomfortable questions? Probably, because they focus on something other than you're self proclaimed title of "best racer in the west".

In the future, if you don't want public comment..and that means ANY public comment that has access to the material, keep you're dirty laundry to yourself.

John Casey,
If you post your sour grapes in a public forum people like me are gonna comment and my comment is give it up for now. Go fly, start your own club, contact members individually and plead your case with them. The amount of members you will reach at that club by posting here isn't enough to sway the membership so why bother unless you want to get more crap from us?

"Discussion" of issues is not allowed at club business meetings,
as such this forum is a great way to bring certain things to light.
(news that would otherwise not get out)

Personal attacks on any forums site is wrong,
if you can't stick to the issues.... then learn from them.

The majority that some people speak of consists of 25 members out of 190+
The rules of the club were put in place by the many, and violated for the
benefit of only that elite self serving 25.
