For most AMA members, as long as they have a place to fly, they are happy. This low level of active involvement is the same in many other organizations.

I can't argue that chuck! I have been a volunteer fireman, volunteered on the Rescue Team, volunteered my time to the Ambulance Service, been a long time member of the Community Association, spent years working with developmental disabled adults, etc etc., and no matter what group I have been apart of, there is always the same half dozen people out of many within each group that actually show up to do the soup suppers, pancake breakfast, benefit auctions, etc etc. All the other Members always have good intentions on being there to help, but it is always the same few people who actually show up to get the work done. Most AMA Members would be no exception I am afraid!

The name is Ray, and no I really had no idea what you meant, but thanks for comming back with that grand reply, and clarifying for me. Not sure what the f u meant though! I am guessing it meant "Fellow Universer". I appreciate the quick reply! You are a true gentleman with a real knack for posting! Almost like poetry!

Just goto maps.yahoo.com and type in your address. Then do a seach for recruiters in your area. You'll find a few for sure.

Problem is you need to take a test to get in. I think the score has to be higher then 60%. Of course I'm not saying that you won't pass the test or anything.

Two types of people in the world, the people that talk about it and the people that do it.

Opinions like that are just best kept to yourself! People that make ignorant statements like that offer absolutely nothing to this thread! The question this poll asked is in regards to World Contest between countries, and not your personal views or politics on what you think about people who visit our country, or want to become residents or citizens. These people may not be welcome at your dinner table, but they are at mine, and yes I voted for "Citizens Only" in the poll! You go ahead and call me what ever name your small mind can drum up, but I will continue to stand by my remarks that your statement was one that has no place here!

Hey looks like USA badminton (an Olympic sport as well as a 2000 year old game) allows their Team USA to be non-US citizens for International competitions.

http://www.usabadminton.org/page.asp...hor-LIST-49575

Another thing that strikes me odd is that nobody is crying "citizenship" to all the professional athletes that not only play our American professional sports and take spots from our American citizens, but play them on our American soil. Heck they can't even find a goalie to play for team USA in the Olympics because there is not one single NHL goalie with a US citizenship.

So lets try not to forget all those athletes, hundreds or perhaps thousands of them that American teams allow to play on professional sports on our American soil. Try to explain to me how that is not a precedent.
