AMA Lifetime Membership??

RE: AMA Lifetime Membership??
Yes, AMA offers Life memberships.
At my last research, they cost $1,500.00.
Although you did not ask, I will add some additional information and will not even charge you for it.
Of that $1500, $1,425.00 is considered a donation to the charitable organization at the time of application, therefore if the applicant itemizes deductions on his/her federal tax return, then he/she can claim that $1425 as a donation, further decreasing the expense by the applicants tax bracket percentage

"Would it not be more prudent to ask AMA such a question? What does it prove to ask such a question here other than you are fishing for some topic that has already been discussed here many times?"
Are we looking for trouble?

IMO, much better to lose an election than win if an 8" dark brown slimy nose is required to win. You've been paying too much attention to your professional politicians. [>:]

I take that as some kinda racist remark, very uncalled for. And a total disgrace to the AMA forum and RCU.

RE: AMA Lifetime Membership??
This thread kind of got off on the wrong foot pretty quickly. I've gone through the thread and either removed posts that weren't on topic, and I have edited a couple of posts so that the information requested by the original poster is available. I'm not going to lock the thread right now, I just ask that we keep the conversation here on topic for this thread.
I thank everybody in advance for sticking to the subject at hand.

RE: AMA Lifetime Membership??
Extra 230-RCU's question made me curious just how difficult it would be to find the info he was inquiring about on the AMA website. I already was aware that the lifetime membership was an option and Hossfly hadn't replied yet with the information in his second post. I went to the AMA site , searched, and didn't find it so I went to contact AMA staff, scrolled down to membership renewal and e-mailed Mr. Jamie Burns with my question. My point being, Mr. Burn's reply to my question was very quick and gave me the exact same information as I later found Hossfly had posted here. My thanks to both.
