CP,

Personally, I don't give a Rat's A** how impressed you are with anything that I do. I've lived for over 60 years without benefit of your expertise, or opinions, and I think that maybe (just maybe) I can live the rest of my life without it as well.

The point that I was making was to tell you how the majority of those in my area (at least those who have heard anything about the situation) felt about it. I did not mean that it was any kind of a scientific survey with any blind faults, or otherwise. I'm just talking about local opinion, and that's all that it is. Kind of like yours.....You don't have any other information, but you have formed your opinion, and mine is just as valid as is yours. I just don't think that everyone at AMA headquarters is out for some personal vendetta.

Yes Stick
the outcome of this thread discusiing the Firing of SK wil have no outcome on the AMA or SK or JC

It is a matter of character.

Some of us would like to not think of JC as a Azzinine Tyrant Jerk if he is not one.
That would be unfair to him, and a showing of poor character on our parts for jumpigt to conclusions.

So when SK posts one side of a story,
folks of reasonable character would want the whole story before making up their minds od who is the jerk.

Stick,
Would you like us to decide whether JC was an Azzinine Tyrant Jerk without hearing both sides.. in particular, without hearing his side of the story?

Of course not.
So we dont want to make taht call wiothout the full info.
Such taht we said on page 1... IF it is true, and we are trying to see if it is

If 1000 members have no info to go on but the First Hand Account of SK vs OfficialSilence/rumors/gossip/IllegalLeak,
those 1000 members will decide after a while that JC is indeed an Azzinine Tyrant Jerk given no evidance to the contrary. And 1000 people thinking that about JC means nothing to anyone anywhere except those 1000. They have no bearing on anything, but theit own opinion. Nothing will come of it.

But those folks can rest assured in their personal character that they gave JC a chance to defend himself before jumping to conclusions.

Stick,
Give the word that it is ok and valid,
and will will stop giving JC a chance to defend his position and consider him an Azzinine Tyrant Jerk
based on SK's word and the lack or word from JC/AMA.

Is taht what you really want?
Or do you want us to continue waiting before judging (someting lots here didnt give SK)

What I would like to see is for everyone that is ranting about the Termination of Mr. Kaluf to get along with their lives. You will not get an official version from either Mr. Cherry (that would be unprofessional of him), nor will you get a statement from the AMA. So to what purpose are you dedicating your life? Move along, and find something useful to keep yourself distracted. Maybe try building a model airplane....

"So to what purpose are you dedicating your life?"
That would be Marksmanship... or maybe the Big3 from Elmer Keith.
Toy Airplanes is a hobby

This thread was 2 or 3 pages of folks asking if it was true, and 40 pages of fighting over them simpley wanting to know if it was true.

I lack the crystal ball to determin from the 1st post that SK was telling lies.
And have a few times said here, that this thread would dry up & fade away if you folks would stop commenting/berating us wanting the truth.

Hey, AMA!
Tell us the whole story!

There, now we can just sit back & wait... & wait... & wait...
and this thread will fade from the list to obscurity in archive.
Just stop posting.
it will go away...
just stop posting....

The best advice comes from the people that actually use it.

Will Stick post again…stay tuned to this channel…Is his advice good enough for him to follow…bets?

.......can't wait to read the rebuttal.......

Let it be said that in general, guys who get involved with the political and bureaucratic end of this ego driven sport often find themselves in similar circumstances to SKs'. Talk to a few of your local [past and present] club presidents and your local contest directors if you doubt this.

These men find themselves involved in urination contests from time to time. The reasons for the friction are almost always very childish. I think SK got sucked into one of these contests, and I am not going to be too surprised to find out someday that JC ends up in the losing end of one, himself.

No problem though, someone with JCs' work history should always be able to wash ashore at a school board job, dept. of transportation, port authority, chamber of commerce, parks and recreation, public sanitation, you know....the kind of jobs that don't require any marketable skills other than his degree in "GRAVYTRAINOLOGY".

Jeez, has this thread grown some serious legs!! I'm glad to say, I don't care if Kaluf is working or not. I'm sure the AMA corp. knows how to run itself. It was there (successfully) long before Kaluf, and will continue long after Kaluf. All he was was a "cog in the wheel", and that "cog" has been replaced.

I cant believe nobody in 30pages had thought to try to get the AMA side of what happened before passing judgement.

If it was defensible it would have been offered here given the level of consternation this has caused, and the ability of a "reasonable explanation" to put the whole thing to bed instantly. That it has not speaks volumes.

The AMA is well aware of this thread, but it means nothing to them.

Just my opinion but the AMA has followed a rule that was long ago told to me by my Jr High Basketball coach.

"It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your an idiot, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Proving that they had cause to let Steve go gives them no positive sides and potentially a lot of negatives.

Well actually the AMA is conducting itself in total compliance with the applicable Indiana and federal laws. But let's keep beating this thing to death.

Are you refering to AMA Wayne chatting it up here?
Cause if JC just cut & pasted what wayne said as verbatim from him(&ama), that would do it for me.
Or does the legal coin get a flip when we talk about AMA Wayne

why
why poke the thread when it was fading so nicely.

We ask
we wait
thread fades to archive
... whats so hard about that?

I have an email from my district vic prexy that he says people have called him and he explained what happened and they were satisfied. So i guess they can talk as long as it isn't in print.

Hey jugflier what is a "Vic Prexy". Do you mean Vice Pres. Vic is pronounced just like it looks "Vick" and Prexy sounds like your trying to be informal and say Pres. but the way you spelt it, it would be pronounced "Precky". Are your calling the District VP a ***** in your on words?

Maybe we should just do a write in campain for Steve Kaluf for president. He is very well versed in all aspects of the Hobby ("business")
