I also have been a proud member and served as a club officer for many years. In fact, I've been the club treasurer for something like 20 of the last 22 years, and have been a member of the club for about 33 years, and except for about a 7 year period early in the family raising years, I have been a proud and willing member of AMA since 1962, and intend to stay one as lo9ng as I am able to fly.

And it's the folks like you that make clubs work, make the AMA work, and provide a safe, clean, enjoyable learning enviroment for all members. Others spend a lot, and I mean a lot, of time whining and tilting at windmills. Have you ever noticed that folks of their ilk never reallyseem to do anything? It's the down to earth, get it done, movers and shakers that make anything worthwhile happen. My hat is off to you and your brothers that keep clubs and serious aeromodeling possible.

I keep forgetting,
what % of AMA members do not belong to ANY club?
Are they not serious modelers too, even if they dont perform club duties?

Keep wondering about useless numbers but first take a close look at the statement you reference. I would ask that you take special care in differentiating between the words "and" and "or". I would have thought you would have made the distinction. No so much your eager doppelganger, however.

Post #25 RCKen Quote >While some polls are fitting for discussion, this one is not. <

Well so much for that. This thread, like the last two or three has imploded on itself with the usual name calling, arguments and character assassinations. Why is it that people nowdays don't understand "Yes" and more importantly, "NO"??
How sad.
