Could we do a poll to find out which one of these polls is the most useless waste of time...of all time?

Sure, and as this goes on week after week, just what do you think happens with the credibility of USAMA?

Hi Guys, Been out for a while and just logged on. Seen this thread and can't resist. I've been in RC for 30 years now and seen a lot of changes, however the one change I remember as well as many of you that have been around for a while, was frequency change. When the FCC allociated channels a few years ago, they were going to cut the 72mhz channels down to just a few. At the time that 2.4 was not even thought of. Had it not been for the AMA working with the Gov. we may not even have RC as we know it today. With only a portion of the channels avaliable, growth of the hobby probably would not have happened. This in turn on a business standpoint would not have opened the market up with competition from suppliers of RC. You get a lot more than insurance with the AMA.

Show us the data of Person or Persons that reported getting nothing back.

You are making facts up to support your agenda.

What justification do you have to state ''so far not even an insurance policy'' has been given to those that paid for one?
Who has reported sending money and getting nothing ''at all. Nada.'' back?
Cite source that we can read their tale too,
if, of course, you are not just fabricating fallacy for your agenda.
Indeed. Really?

Am I to take your word that someone, anyone has received a bona-fide policy? Where's your proof. I'll accept someone (else's) word if they did.

What justification do you have for saying someone has?
Who has sent money and got something back?
Cite source so that we may rejoice in the new wave of the furure in RC. All hail USAMA. You can be their cheerleader in this the RC Insurance Forum. Yea, everytime you agree with them or if you like the way they are handling things we can call you a sheep and make jokes about how you pray each morning facing Las Vegas. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

You are assuming clubs using this insurance would for some reason not accept other brands of insurance... like AMA brand. Why not consider a bowling team that names itself a club and runs a field that requires $1mil liability insurance for folks to join... why assume they would not accept StateFarm/Hartford/LLLLoyds/AMA/USAMA or whatever brand $1mil insurance (yes, if you have AMA$2mil you meet the $1mil requirement)
Clubs are supposed to do what? Have a laptop hooked up at the field to verify insurance coverage? Pretty rich from asomeone who posted on and on and on and on about how AMA club members were too inept to verify PPP compliance and that the AMA was bringing safety officers to tears over the accessibility by email requirement.

Methinks thou dost protest too much.

If USAMA is only an illusion, what inspires the fervent crusade against it.....is AMA that vulnerable to folks having a choice, dubious as it may be?

IMO, one need not be concerned about his right to be an AMA member, as AMA will defend it with vigor to the bitter end. Just as the BAR Assn will defend to the last man standing the rights secured by the Sixth Amendment to the Bill of Rights in the Constitution of the USA. That example chosen because it seems to me most likely to be last right one is at risk of losing as an American citizen.

I consider my right to be an AMA member nearly as bullet-proof as my right to employ a lawyer per the 6th. YMMV

Robo-
Am I to take your word that someone, anyone has received a bona-fide policy? Where's your proof. I'll accept someone (else's) word if they did.

What justification do you have for saying someone has?
Who has sent money and got something back?
Cite source so that we .....
What forum are you reading,
cause I never claimed any one has gotten anything.
Me cite source????? Source of what, I didnt make any claim, remember?
Robo, how can I stand behind what I never said.
You need to let at least a little reality into your argument.

ahh, theres the rub: I never made that outlandish claim,
whereas you are making wild declarations
"More efficient to just say "nothing". At all. Nada. So far not even an insurance policy. Just a repository for your $20."
you have no way of knowing if folks have gotten their insurance and are happy with it, yet you declare that so far it hasnt happened just because nobody told you it has.

You are not the center of the universe,
things happen & dont happen without your knowledge.
Other than your omniscience, how can you say it hasnt happened with and degree of accuracy?
Maybe it has, maybe it hasnt, I dont know
AND NEITHER DO YOU.

One of us admits we dont have any data,
and the other is just making data up.

So far, no happy customers have called some guy on some website (Robo) for no reason.
I can accept that.
But I speculate that so far no unhappy customers have called him either.

Robo, you have no justification to say folks do not get what they paid for from USAMA,
just as I dont declare they have actually got it cause there is no justification for that either.

Your attempt to avoid standing behind what you declare by demanding I do so too
is flawed:
I havent made any declarations one way or the other, remember?

By the way,
you still need to back up what you said or rephrase/recant it,
your smoke&mirror damage control has failed

while entertainingly tangetical,
I will defer this to the ample discussion on how easy Pay Per Day is to administer in other threads.
Enjoy your read of those classic threads, I always have a good time when I read them.

KE, unless both parties in any discussion have an equal respect for the truth, it isn't worth the time.

Yes they do. May the fruits of your blind faith and servitude pacify your soul as you face Texas and may God help anyone who should dare question the biblical writings that emanate from that hallowed ground.

wow
I really didnt see that coming.
I would have guessed that bringing up blind faith and servitude
would be something the ama crusaders would be trying to avoid.

KE, it doesn't do any good to use the term "crusader" with some people because they don't know what it means......they never had time to cover it in school in some parts of the country where illiteracy rates are so high.

BTW There is some guy on another forum site that has an avatar of blindly flying as an AMA member or something like that...laughed until I seen red. What a joke!

Well for the reading and humor impaired that was called irony. Albeit wasted irony. You see this guy was flaming another poster for daring to question another one but his guy is cracking on oither folks all the time for blindly supporting AMA........... really go back and read.

I thought if no one else, KE would have picked up on it. He does seem to show some intelligence and humor on occasion. The other two ............ nah. You two remember Ralph and Potsie on Happy Days? There you go.

Again, try to follow along. The next two posters after KE were .................... go back............look........there ya' go.

Wow, I think I'll bail on this thread before somebody retorts with a ninny, ninny, boo boo. Amazing.

Anybody's mind changed as a result of this thread? Sound off. *chirp, chirp*

Just another long and mostly useless exercise of the usual schoolyard bullies trying to intimidate and then r-e-a-l-l-y getting po'd when someone calls them on it. Just remember, blind allegiance is not productive no matter who is practicing it and for whom they practice it.

I suppose it happens, but, intimidated by a bunch of goobers on the internet? If so, probably the same bunch that are intimidated by the GOM at the field.
Take it or leave it, but my advice is to do like I did. Take a long break from here. Then come back and ignore the BS. Ain't that tough.

It appears that the subject matter has been forgotten and we have once again reverted to bashing each other, so once again, lets close this one down. Dave
