Red is a very honorable person and if he has indicate he doesn't want to be affiliated with your club then that should be that. Doesn't sound too complicated to me.
But what you are overlooking is the fact Red joined...for whatever reason...

I guess he thought he could make some issue about his membership.

He could have simply asked me or any club officer that he has occasion to converse with on the forums to be removed or simply went to our club website and indicated he wanted to be removed...He did neither!

Now if all that stuff is honorable to you so be it. Personally I think he is just trying to make more trouble for our club...he is known for that...it is a matter of public record.

They had rather stir trouble up than admit red is wrong or at fault

Do what? If you meant to ask me to take him of the club roster then you need to be informed that is not your call. Maybe you might understand if I said to you..."Take him off of roster". See how that works...not well at all.

LCS-

My first reply (2nd post in this thread) seems too hasty, in retrospect. I made the presumption based on his statements that Mr red desired to be removed from the TUFF roster, however, certain protocol applies for such action of course, and I respect it. Accordingly, I support removing him from the roster IF he submits a request to be removed and it can be authenticated within reason as to due care.

I of course would assume to take him off your roster would require mutual consent. I am just looking for a simple solution to a simple problem. I guess it somewhat is applicable to the old antage dont make a mountain out of a mole hill. I got the impression in retrospect that he objected in the first place to being put on your roster. Lets dont spend time trying to sling mud lets just move ahead and go fly a kite......oops I mean a plane. Cheers!!! Happy New Year.

I think if ya go back an read LCS's first post, you can see where he says he (red) submitted something to them

"I just received an email from Jim Rice D8 DVP indicating that Red S. told him that we, The TUFF club, had listed him, Red S., on our club roster without Red's consent...I also observe that on the "official AMA forum" Red vehemently accuses our club of fraudulently listing him on our roles...also one of the moderators there said it must be some "rouge member's action"...How appalling to allow such...oh well...Yes, it appears Red can claim anything with impunity up to and including fraud by our club...The fact is he did submit via our website his application to join the TUFF club... I knew then as all should know now that Red likely was up to no good and therefore kept his submission for later proof… I have the original… I figured his angle then was to see if we would single him out and deny him membership since he caused so much conflict for our club and use that against us and claim some sort of discrimination…but guess what…we put him on the role as he wished."

If he kept the original message, the email addy is easy enough to track back to where ever it came from.

I'd like to invite Red to be a member of one or all of the clubs I belong to.

His name doesn't have to be printed on the roster.

In fact most of the clubs up here does not allow anyone but club members to view the club roster, other than the officers.

No, I won't pay his dues, but he can still join. We'd be happy to have him as a member.

We are getting lots of requests to expel him.

I have a hard time doing that since he has been so nice to design me a new auto license plate. Even Bj BUDDY has put it on his profile page. Some really good...err..nice...nice... fellows if you know what I mean...LOL

The magazine is not worth the paper it's printed on. How long do you think that mag would survive on the open market if it wasn't force fed down our throats? Photos suck, editorials are lame, reviews are mostly of crap nobody would buy. Drop the mag as a mandtory part of the package. Honestly, how many of you would pay an extra $24.00 a year or so for that rag if it was offered as an option?

Are we talking about MA here? Photos stink? I always thought that was one of the greatest aspects of MA was their photos.

Yea, but you’d probably say that if they had two year old children drawing the pictures with crayons LOL. Sorry, couldn’t help joke a little but if you weren’t so biased what you say would mean a little more. But since I am not...I think the pictures are fine enough.

From the various descriptions of MA which get posted here, I think there must be several different versions sent out. I've seen some which were almost as good as Flying Models.

AMA's magazine is a great magazine if you want to keep up with what AMA is currently doing I guess...I would rather have a choice of a different model mag included in the annual fee...I used to really like RC Report. Not sure what happened to that one. I usually skip over the helicopter stuff and the foamies and the free flight and the gliders and read the scale articles and Sport Flier stuff...a lot of my magazine goes unread, but I think it is an ok mag for one that tries to cover so many aspects of the sport. But, I'd like to have a choice in the matter. I miss RC Modeler. I used to read that one a lot. Sorry, I don't have any dirt to fling..don't kick me off the thread ok? Ha ha Just kidding.....
