It will be interesting to see the FAA's response on July 21st. I suspect it will be the same response they have had in the past, they are operating within their authority.

Sounds like he is advocating to keep traditional model aircraft from being governed. Good for him!

If that's his goal, it won't be met, that ship sailed years and years ago (far before MR came on to the scene). The hobby has seen governance before, and it will see it again in the future. His actions seem to be focusing on limiting what he feels is the FAA's overreach.

Regardless, good on him for doing something substantive and meaningful.
