If any of my west coast friends want to say hello ask around at the AMA booth for Andy. If they ask you which one tell them the quiet one :) (or Griffith)
I can't go, too far away and no vacation time, that I know of anyway.

I see they are "giving" Magnum .91's away at $132.....but are not stocking parts......
Was going to go but get to go to the cardiologist in at the San Francisco VA for tests instead.
Hope everything goes well for you!
Probably go Sunday to see the FAA discussion.
FAA Administrator spoke at CES yesterday in Vegas. He's an appointee, so he's gone in less than two weeks. Will be interested to see what changes the new administration brings, especially in light of Shuster renewing his effort to privatize ATC.

HP doesnt go to AMA shows. They go to the RCX show
I have been going to the RC EXPO every year since 1985 (when it was still in Pasadena), except for 1993-1998 when I was living in VA. Since AMA bought it and moved it to Ontario, Hobby People has had a booth until this year. I went to the show yesterday and there were the least amount of vendors in the last 30 years. If it wasnt for local clubs and organizations the hall would of been 2/3rds empty.
Like I said , I went last year and HP wasnt there and havent been there for some time. I have worked at HP for many years and the only show they been going too is RCX
Go will disagree twiz...because I talked to Mike Greenshields about a problem....

You want comments of those who attended....well my wife and I did on Saturday. The show was definitely smaller than in previous years and the isles were wider (which was nice) and there was some great opportunities for the young people - building rockets, rubber powered airplanes and of course driving on the closed course. I didn't take my camera because it is such a pain to carry around. Nothing special at the show but the busiest booth seemed to be JB Hobbies - he had some great deals going on and of course MicroFasteners - long line to check out. As far as 'deals' went I didn't see anything that required I make a purchase :) but I did look over the Horizon booth (pretty crowded) and inspected the new 30cc Ultra Stick-yes I would have bought one if there was one on sale. I was disappointed some of the larger mfg weren't there but understand it cost mega bucks to be there. Would I go back next - probably - but considering I was at the show from 10 - 2 it isn't the best use of my hobby dollars :):):)
