I like the elf on the front of the vertical stab and the reindeer wrapped around the leading edge of the left horizontal stab

You might not like a lot of things about California but we were flying in calm 68 deg weather all weekend.

I love California ! Some of my most favorite movies were made there, and I never judge the decision making of people living different lives than me, so we're all good.....

Just don't get me going on the Lakers, , , I'm Boston Celtics through & through :p

It actually got up to 50 degrees here in Northern Oregon on Saturday. We had what we called “ Frostbite fun fly “ at the sailplane field. A good friend who was there with his first full house sailplane logged a 15 minute flight his second time up. His smile was priceless.

Yes, Have to admit I miss that weather come this time of year,, but I'm guessing the reasons you live out there in the Desert and not in the LA basin are the same reasons I live some 2400 miles away ;)

I'll be back in August when it's 75 here and we can compare temps and flying conditions again ;)

Yea, I miss the California winter flying as well. Not much else though.

Got the new 2023 sticker today, I hope all of my fellow AMA forum posters have a great 2023 flying season :cool:

Yea, 2022 wasn’t the best for me. Flew in only 3 events so far. Helicopter fun fly this weekend though. Was out getting tuned up on Saturday.

Got the new 2024 AMA sticker today ;)

Pretty fast turnaround, on 9-13 I paid for three years online, and today (9-19) my new AMA card arrived in the mail, good till Dec 2026 :cool:
