Default AT 280 thrust tube diameter-questions

Does anyone know the minimum diameter for an AT 280 exhaust tube? Is 2.25 inches sufficient for the efflux? I have an opening that is 2.75 inches in diameter. Assuming .25 inches between the inner and outer walls of the thrust tube leaves me with 2.25 inches for the exhaust.

Is that within design specifications? Will it create back pressure and over temp the turbine or reduce the thrust?

Thanks for any insight.

Tom

Hi Tom

I got an F15 from a friend. He used an AMTPegasus in this aircraft. The tube diameter at the input is arround 4.3 inches.

Regards
Pierre
