I like how it's got a proper three blade prop. Warbirds of that era just don't look right with a two-blade!
My second plane will be a warbird of some sort. Not decided on whether I want that to be a corsair or a P47, though, but this ARF is making a damn good argument in favor of the corsair!

That's a nice airframe!
I wonder if they will start producing more warbirds to compete with other manufacturers!
Obviously,
GreatPlanes & Top Flite have been left behind from other mfg's on scale or near scale airplanes!

$400 for a 62"ws with no retracts, there are better options out there then this over priced arf........

For that Price, I think I would just buy the Hangar 9 .60 size Corsair.. similar wing span, nice looks, and pre-installed rotating retracts, and $140 less than the TF Corsair... Hmmm.... I could get a Twist arf with the Extra $$$..

I've heard an awful lot of reports of the H9 bird falling apart mid-air. I'd rather spend the premium on the TF bird than I would buy the H9 bird, then have to strip it down and re-glue it. If I'm going to go to all that trouble I'll just get the kit in the first place.

When I heard about the TF Cosair a few months back, I sold my NIB H9 Corsair so I could have the funds to buy the TF. Can't wait to see it....

But the quality is not what you'd expect for a manufacturer with that recognition...

Too bad Top flite doesnt market there ARF's as Nitro or Electric, It would save a lot of time with the conversion + It would attract more electric fliers as electric flying is a booming.
Cheers.

I too had an H9 Corsair which is now long gone due to wing failure. Quality of the H9 kit is very poor. H9 really should think about doing a major update to that kit.
Instead of picking another one up, I have been holding out for Top Flite ARF. I just wish they would release this ARF already, now its saying early December.

As a long time modeler that has flown most of TF kits from the 50's control line to the present day 50cc warbirds you can not buy a plane that has better flight style then Top Flight. The wing/tail angles are set right so you don't have to fly with down trim all the time.
Had a local club member test fly a new TF P-40 50cc this last weekend and flies perfect...no trim needed. I was standing watching the first flight and everyone was talking about how nice it flew and I said....of course it flys nice it is a Top Flight model. I am on my third GS P-51 50cc ARF from TF and everyone flies off the bench perfect.
I use them for my everyday flying plane.

I hear you, My YS FZ110 has been patiently waiting for this plane.
It is odd that they didn't include the mechanical retracts with the kit.. Especially since its $50 more than the other top flite arfs .
So while I continue to wait, I'm going to build a 1/12 Hughes H1-B racer.. Wish TF would make an arf of that as well
