I want to weather the plane and was wondering , what would you see at the panle lines? What was under the blue ? Is it silver . green? Any one have suggestions on highlighting the panle lines from color to the method ?

weathering?..... I have yet to hear how this thing flies! How about someone fly the damn thing! I would love to buy one but I dont want to get stuck with a dog.

It sure looks good and the price is right but please someone do a flight report!

There is a post in the other thread for the Hangar 9 Corsair concerning how it flies.

I'll guarandamtee you one thing, If Horizon makes it, it won't fly like a dog, ever.

They know more than most the power of the 'net, and have a terrific R&D team that flies the wings off the new planes before their sold to the masses.

ok, I went back and read real close and I guess on page 4 between the complaining about the retracts there is a small blurb on how it flies. I was looking for something a little beefier than that...... but youre right those guys dont seem to put out any dogs.

Here's the next question, for all out speed with a 2 stroke, which one is faster, p-51 or the Corsair? I am looking for something to hot rod and those Hanger 9 kits look very very nice. I want 120+ mph, will they do it? Or will I snap it and bring it home from the field in "kit form"?

yes weathering, Its an ARF, 90% of how it flys will be in how you fly . So if we coudl get back to the question -weathering -any one have a clue on the look of this plane and the proper weathering ? I wont fly it till spring, putting in Air retracts , cockpit, full pilot ect.
Its simply to nice to leave it alone .

According to "ThrustHP" program, you'll need an engine that will turn a 12" pitch 2 blade prop at least 10,000 RPM to get 120 MPH.

That's "pitch", not "diameter".

Which 60 - 120 size 2 cycle will do that?
