dubflyer, not near enough info. What engine are you using. Also have no idea what your question about mounting the wing is. Please explain a little more clearly. Check what I just posted about "Comparing Two H9 Caps"

The Cap 232 will have a Saito 180 and the Elevator servo is a Hitec 645 MG with Carbon pushrod to the elevators....will this end up nose or tail heavy..??
Also the underside of the wing when fitted into the dowel slots end up tight against the fuse sides but the plate with the dowls is still not flush with the fuse underside. I notice that the cowl does not cover this up..???

Let me try to help. These planes very in weight somewhat, but you should not need any weight in the nose with the Saito 1.80. From personal experience, this plane flies well with the CG all the way back to 6" at least. Maybe someone that has more experience can comment on this, but I am working my way back on the CG from the stock setting.
If I understand your wing question, it is one of two things. If you mean when the wing is mounted aligned square to the fuselage - yes, you may have a small gap up to 1/8" on one side or the other were it mounts to the front of the fuselage. It's Ok, don't worry about it.
If you mean the fact that the wing sticks out about 1/2" below the fuselage - it is suppose to be that way.

I mean the latter....therefore it is OK that the wing sticks out 1/2 " below the fuse .....there was no clear pic of this in the manual.
Thank you for the tips on the CG,
