Anybody seen this ARF? What do you guys/gals think of it from what you have seen?

I have never owned a Lanier kit or ARF.

Thanks,

Default Lanier F-86 ARF??

I had an F-86 and I detailed it to the hill with pin striping. Spent a lot of time on making it a great looking model. Loaded an OS46 in the nose and off to the field. First flight was not so good. it trimed out with only a few clicks of rudder and was flying very nice when I lost the engine and to my suprise, it droped the nose to a 45 deg. angle and even with 3/4" of elevator I could not bring up the nose for a landing. It hit the ground at 45% and was totaled. I E-mailed the mfgr. that same day to ask if the "CG" might have been printed wrong, that was 6 weeks ago. They have not even contacted me about the plane. Not to happy about the whole thing. Ken....The "BALSA BANDIT"

Default F 86

Bandit

What was the attitude of the plane before it took a dive, was it in a turn, did it stall ? I built a model of a House of Balsa,, A-7 Corsair II , On the first flight, it flew very well ,as long as i kept the speed up,, I set up for a landing and when i cut the throttle back to a little less than half. the plane did a nose dive right in the ground. It hung in my shop for about 2 years ,then i decided to repair it . The next flight i was prepared, this time on landing I kept plenty of speed, about 50 0r 60 mph. This little plane flys very good , but does not like slow flight at all. Well back to the F 86, what was the CG location on yours, any other info would be appreciated.

Thanks Ron C Texarkana , Tx
