Hanger 9 Super Stick CG
Could anyone tell me where the CG is on the Hanger 9 {60 size} Super Stick.
What is the distance back from the leading edge?
Been given a plane nearly finished but has no manual.
Thanks for any help.

If noone has a manual or knows of the "top of their head", I'd recommend their web page. More than likely, you'll find that in the technical
data section for that plane.

I have a note in my old assembly manual that the C/G is 3/4" behind the main spar. I also have 4 1/4" written down. I would asume that this is the distance from the LE. Be aware that the C/G shown in the assembly manual is incorrect.
I would also recommend that you contact Horizon Hobby Customer Support to verify the above.

The CG on my ultra stick 60 is 4 1/8 behind the leading edge per manual.
With two servos in the tail, a saito 100, the battery behind the tank and lots of
epoxy around the firewall and deep into the fuse's tail the plane came out
slightly tailheavy. I left it there and told my instructor before flying.
It came out right on, nicely balanced.
And i thought i'll need that $22 CG machine to get it perfectly.
No, one third of the leading edge is usually ok for most planes i was told.
happy landings
