With most of the better ARF's on the market, the engineering and instructions should make it easy enough to do it blindfolded.

Note I said "SHOULD".

I've seen some that were, and some that weren't. I haven't built any of the "Stik" ARFs, but if you want one that's very aerobatic, and VERY easy to assemble, take a look at the Midwest Aerobat:

Don't guess at anything. If the directions aren't clear, then post a question in here. There are lots of people on here that will be glad to help. Just don't empty the bottle of CA on it and then realize it doesn't go there!

The instuctions that come with the Hangar 9 Ultra Sticks are well written and easy to follow. They build quick and are good flying planes.

I'll second Mike's recomendation of the Midwest Aerobat. Based on his review I bought one for myself and it has become one of my favorite airplanes ever.

It went together easily and it flies great.

Knight ... remember once the glue has set there is no turning back!!! So always ask when in doubt and dry fit it carefully. You will have fun I am sure, H9 planes are great stuff.

knightmagic,

I'm a ways north of you in Zachary (north of Baton Rouge).

I'm assembling an H9 Ultra Stick 40 right now. I bought it because it is an excellent model and goes together quickly and easily. I had a selling spree and found myself with two projects to build and nothing to fly except a few helicopters and my grandson's Four Star. He would never forgive me if I crashed it...

The instructions are very clear and concise. The quality of the fit/finish & craftsmanship on the airframe is superb; the supplied hardware is, if not what many of us would choose, still usable. The only real problem might be the tank.

IOW, this would make a perfect second model.
