Default Hangar9 Zero?

Today, I found this retract discription on CJM web.
Does H9 plan to introduce Zero ARF besides P-40?

Hangar 9 Zero (31988)
Product #: 31988
Centurion upper mechanism with 3/8" diameter oleo struts.
Axles installed at angle specified by manufacture and comes with
a complete air system included! Bullet proof inner struts installed
after 11-15-04.
Due to end of year close out, photo will be available at a later date.

I searched Horizon website, but couldn't find anything on the H9 Zero. Maybe it's a typo on CJM website.

Yes, that makes sense. I also looked into Horizon site, but nothing
about Zero. I wonder what the typo is for.

Maybe those retracts are for the CMP 71" Zero.

After putting two Hanger 9 models together which are a PULSE 40 and a Christen Eagle II, I will never buy or assemble another Hanger 9 model. Weak and poor fitting parts. Cheap hardware package, etc, etc. Even did a short review for the Christen Eagle on Horizon's website and as you can tell, it was not a good review. Keep in mind that I am 70 years old and have building model airplanes since the age of 8, thus I know what I am doing.

Coming to the conclusion with most of these ARF's that if you want the plane right, then you would be better off building a model from a KIT ! That is exactly what a lot of members in two clubs that I belong to are doing these days.

Can understand being pressed for time these days in todays world. But, luckily I am retired, thus have more time to do things than I actually need.

Sorry, do not know of any ZERO kits being offered. If I were to build a kit these days I would look at " Top Flite Gold Edition Kits ". They offer some really nice war bird kits.

I to am looking at a kit to build and what I am seriously considering is the Balsa USA Eindercker 90 kit. A fellow club member is presently assembling a Balsa USA Fokker D7. He states that it is a really good quality kit and is very pleased with it.

If you do choose to go with an ARF, just be sure to re-glue everything that can easily be reached.

In either case, ARF or kit, good luck to you. As long as you are enjoying the hobby and happy with what you are building, that is what matters most.
