A friend heard about and is looking for a "ARF" Fi-156 Storch 60 size made by Avio-Modelli. Anyone know of their site or have intel on thisplane?

The Aviomodelli is a kit not an ARF, they offer a buit up wing version and a foam core type wing. The importer has gone out of business they sold here for $250, I have two, maybe willing to sell one...

The model can only be bought with foam wings. A separate built-up wing pack is available which is something of a con-trick to make more money, why not offer the original kit as foam or built-up? It is probably worth getting though as the foam wings are very heavy. They are made from a rather dense foam and covered in white card.

Maybe the kit available in the UK is offered only with foam wings, I have both versions, the US importer sold both versions and I have bought one from a dealer in Italy with buitup wings also (much lighter). Now, be aware, the plans wirh the kit e wings are not full size!

If this plane is build like the rest of there line. The wing and tail-surfaces are foam covered with a vinyl material.

I have the Arrow and Cessna 366.

Thanks, it's good news, even thou the Storch is listed on the "nearly ready to fly" section I wonder if it is really an ARC, the translation maybe wrong, I will confirm with them.Interesting that they sell the built-up wing in separate....

Default Aviomodelli Storch

Actually, the website shows the Fiesler Storch as a 50% Ready to Fly. I guess it comes half built. I also saw the optional built up wooden wings. I found a few European reviews and the people were quite happy with it.

Checked with the seller and it is a kit like has allways been...the fact that has a "built" wing the manufacturer calls it %50 built, this is not the case, same old kit!
