Are there replacement landing gear available someplace?

enjoy and thanks again. bird.
bigbird3 I hope you see this 🙂. What modification did you have to make, if any to get the Pegasus 320 to work? Also do you think a 240 would work? Thanks

Hey, I am finally getting my GP Pitts out and putting together. I feel that I have two left Cabane fuselage wing struts. Has any else ran into this issue? Also would any happen to have a right one?

Almost done….

- Enhance firewall
- Install tanks(smoke and gas)
- Install canopy
- Install RX
- Set controls
- Route exhaust
- Balance
- Run engine
- sure I am missing something….

Man this Gemini looks great on the plane and fits so nice with no modification to the cowl!

Rowdog, have you finished your Pitts and flown it yet? I just got a new GP Pitts that I am debating on which engine to install...

Hey, I have not finished. Need to balance, install smoke tank and add a little more support to the firewall. The engine I have feels like it will pull it just fine.

Well the plane is together! I was going to wait until I got a smoke system put in but I think I might end up flying it and then add the smoke system later.

Here is it with my Bonanza V35B at a local FAA DPE(flight examiner) home airport with their Pitts S1.

Curios, I think I have two left Cabane struts. Does anyone have a right one I could buy? I bent the one I have but would feel better with a true right one 😊.

Plane seems to balance perfect without a spinner with an OS 300 Gemini.

Hello all, before I try to make something, is there any place that makes Aerobatic Strut Sights and Flying Wire Support Guides? Rather just buy some instead of making

I have some wood ready to go for the Flying Wire Guides, if that is what they are called .

See attached picture for example or you can see in the yellow S1 Pitts above.

Thanks

The wire guide is called a 'Javelin', I have not seen them for sale, usually made from a dowel.
I haven't seen the 'Sight' for sale either.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. Seems pretty straight forward to make from a dowel. I will give it a try.
