Default Identifying this Edge 540T ?

A friend picked this used 120 sized Edge for me the other day . I'll get more pics later. Didn't have a canopy pic yet but it looks like a factory tent job in a 540T "tandom" sized cockpit. Came with a color manual plus a CD with detailed color pics for the assembly instructions.
Name on the manual is AO-36 . I just thought maybe this ARF might be like so many others that came from a factory somewhere with an off brand name. Like many of the eBay planes do.
The whole title on the manual is: Edge540 T , 120 Class unlimited 3D Aerobatics Airplane.
I stuck a ST G-2300 on it and some Futaba hi-torque servos. It had some repaired damage plus I found several other things weak or damaged and fixed them. Almost finished with it and as soon as I get the motor treaked in I'll do the maiden.

Specs:
Wing span=(72.6")
Length=(58.3")
RTF Weight=(4.7 to 5.2 kg
Engine=(108 to 160 2T or 120 to 160 4T

Good guess Ynot,,, but it's not the same ARF. The Hanger 9 is a standard 540 with a single seat canopy. Also this 540T has a black fiberglass landing gear and weighs a lot less. Maybe it won't turn out to be a (no name same factory) plane,,, but it would be good to hear if anyone ever had one of these.
Pics of the canopy.

I have bought an extra 330 that is identical in constuction and it has KMP stamped on the inside but kmp say they never made one, I think you will find that they come from world models

No, it isn't H9, KMP, Powerline or World models.

I've been racking and searching, but I can't come up with the name. It was a hobby shop importer, in NJ I think, who brought in 1.20 size Edges, Caps and Extras a couple of years ago. He only lasted about a year before going out of business. The good news is that they all flew reasonably well. The bad news is that there are no spare parts available.

No, that AO-36 probably relates to the actual manufacturer in China. Maybe someone with a better memory than mine will see this and remember the name.

Powerline also makes a 90 or 120 size edge in that same covering scheme that matches your wingspan. Check the Cikus, their are a few threads about it. May not be this exact one though.

THANK YOU !!

I appreciate all the help on tracking this ARF's origins down. Will take some pics of the whole plane this weekend and post. Got the cowling, canopy and wing off while doing the engine break-in . I don't have a decent bench mount for engines larger than a .46 right now so I do the break-ins mounted up on the plane. Plus I get to find out which screws, nuts and bolts need more securing before the first flight.

I think JRF is talking about the now out of business Creek Hobbies. The color scheme looks like the Creek Hobbies and also the one Gianscaleplanes.com used to sell.

Here's a pic of the wing. I'll get those fully assembled pics on here tomorrow. One more tank of fuel through the G2300 in the morning.

Found it here in the Airplane Review area under Creek Hobbies.

Finished it tonight and did the CG. Weight is 11.5lbs . Hope the ST G-2300 will fly this plane well. Anyone have comments on the G2300 SuperTigre ?

The G2300 pulls my 14 pound float plane vertically out of sight, but slowly. It will hover, but not pull out vertically.

I would think that it should be pretty exciting on an 11.5 pound Edge.

I flew the Creek Hobbies Edge-540T this afternoon. Triple rates were at the medium "normal acro" settings. Way too much throw for the plane. Got it trimmed out and flipped the low rates on . Much less excitement and pucker.
The plane seems to fly ok,,,I didn't do any wild flying at all. No loops, rolls or inverted flight. It feels very light and very responsive but the G2300 is not running good yet. Even the way the motor was running I could tell it would bolt the Edge straight up quickly if I wanted. I flew it with a 17x6 APC at about half throttle. Yeah,,, it's too much engine for this plane . And you know how 2-strokes are.
I guess I need to run the ST awhile longer and get it running better before I can judge the combo fairly. Thanks for the comments JRF. I can use all of the ideas you guys got on this engine/plane combo. What prop do you like the best, which glow plug, fuel, etc, etc.
I'm using an OS F-Type plug and running WildCat 15% nitro w/18% synthetic oil.

I'm running a 17X8 APC, 15% Cool Power, Thunder Bolt (Hobby People) plug, stock muffler and a Perry carb. I have had no problems whatsoever with this engine and it pulls like a tractor.
