Default thunder tiger Cub engine, OS or Saito

Hi all, I need some help on choosing an engine to put in my thundertiger J-3 Cub. I am trying to decide which fourstroke to put on it, either a OS FS II .70, or a Saito .72.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Ditto on the Saito, can't go wrong with either but I like Saito's.

Which ever one you can get a better price on. For this plane, weight will not be critical, now will performance be an issue. Both are great engines, and you will be happy with either. Don't waste your money on the .82 for a cub, it doesn't need it. If you like the looks of one over the other, go for it. I have Saito and OS 4-strokes, both are great. It will make no difference in a floater like your cub, as it can handle the extra weight of the OS should you go that route. Only reason to pick Saito is if you think you may want to use the lighter engine in some other plane down the road. OS is quicker to break in, both are great engines. Flip a coin if you can't decide.
