I asked the same question and was told it is no good so i ordered the over priced Giles-202. Im not sure at all but i think the Edge is made by the same company CMP. IF your talking about the Edge listed under the Chief aircraft name. After seeing how decent this Giles is that Edge is next on my list.

I don't know how goot the planes are. I ordered a catalog in November 2005, It's 20 April 2006, and still no catalog. Who knows. I bought something else. I can wait, but I'm not that patient. Lord I could walk from Central Florida to where they are and back in that amount of time.

That plane is also listed on www.giantscaleplanes.com for $169.99

I see chief has it for $189. They seem higher priced on all of their planes.

I had their Katana for a long time. (GSP, also sold under the Chief name) It was a very nice model for the money. I heard horror stories about the covering, but found it to be fine. Some of the trim pieces took a little convincing to stay on, but otherwise it was great. Nice flyer, too. I kinda want another one......

Gee, I just bought a BME 90 and a JR 9303 from them. Those arrived promptly. Maybe you have to spend some money once in a while? <G>

Just kidding my friend. Reorder your catalog or call them up. I'm sure they want your business - stuff happens.

Gee, yourself. You have no idea how much I have spent on this hobby so far this year. I have decided to stop buying from mail order houses, and over the Internet, and give my LHS the money instead. I can get whatever I need, or want within 3 business days, and you know, I kind of like him to stay in business. He does not lose my orders, and does not make excuses. He is a stand up kind of guy, and does a tremendous business. If you ever need something, you might give him a try. Noells Hobbies, Wildwood Florida, ask for Jack. 352-748-0031. You might be pleasantly surprised.
