epoxy glues
As we all use epoxy type glues in our hobby I assume someone will know the answer to this,,, how do you thin epoxy to make it paintable to paint on firewalls as its to stiff to work with ,, I know you can heat it and it helps

G'day Mate,
Just mix a bit of pure methanol in, until it is the consistancy you require, or buy some Zpoxy finishing epoxy, it is thin like pure honey, & about the same colour, I use it to fuel proof all my planes, the stuff goes a very long way, & is great to glue wings together, as you can get it into the dihedral brace slots, & be sure it is totally covered inside, then just wipe off any that squeezes out with a methanol soaked cloth.
