Default Switching landing gear Funtana X100

Has anyone switched the main landing gear on a Funtana X100 from the carbon fiber to an aluminum? What gear did you use? The CF gear is on backorder at Horizon.
Thanks
WCB

We have some glass-filled nylon gear that do a good job with this plane!!
E-mail for details.

YES I HAVE
I had to, i am running electric on it and the 22x10 prop is too long for the factory landing gear.
I put on aluminum landing gear that are alot taller and it works great. They came of some other
plane i had, dont know for sure what plane.

I replaced the "cheesy" OEM gear from Hanger 9 on my 100X with a graphite gear from Graphtech part # 1203 I believe. You will not regret buying their product. I've had mine for 3 years now...........[8D]

I bought a Grapthtech gear also, but ended up not using it.I think it weighed almost double the factory one.The weights are posted somewhere. For my style flying the chunky gear was not an option, but will surely work and last for many others.

Yes, you're right about being "beefy", but with a 2cy Os 120 in front, it doesn't matter

yes,I run a 120 4 stroke,it only matters to the flying style and need to keep the weight off.
Mine broke when I had to deadstick in,from a full stall.
The second (factory) gear has over 75 landings, some Harrier ones and its OK so far.
