Default US Aircore Colt

Hello everyone,
I wanted to know little more about the US Aircore Colt. Right now I have a Durastik and like it a lot even though it does not glide well and does not have the best flight characteristics. I do not like to be stressed out to crash expensive planes thats why I am going with the indestructible planes like Duraplane.
Now I am looking to get another plane and the Colt seems to be the one. Also what is the difference between high and low wings?
Thank you guys,
Valdis

Default Hey . .

Well, I think I can speak on this subject since I've had a couple of Duraplane Aerobats & a U.S. Aircore Colt and a Cub. Neither one is indestructible - I know firsthand. Although, they are tougher than your average plane. They are both straightforward in their assemblies, it's just that they're not the easiest arfs to put together. U.S. Aircores aren't just " fold & fly ", they are plastic airplanes which require alot of clamps to keep the parts together while the glue dries. As you know, Duraplanes don't require much gluing, so these are two completely different planes. In my opinion, the Aircores were a decent airplane; they flew well and they " looked " like an airplane. If you get one, make sure the " engine mount setup " is secured firmly to the plane. Put a couple of screws in the side so it doesn't slide out.
