H9 Cap 232 w/Saito 1.80 Smoke System
I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the best smoke system for a 73" H9 Cap 232 with Saito 1.80. I am setting mine up now and would like to incorporate a smoke system in it and need some help.
Thanks.
Thanks.

smoke system
The web site explaining the constructed smoke system is nice, however, I have found it less troublesome and easier to buy the simple smoke pump which has an electric lead to a spare channel on your radio and purchase a slimline smoke muffler for the specific engine which has a preheater coil or chamber built into it. It seems that when I try to construct a "system" there are too many weak links in the system and I am always tinkering with it. The one problem you can have with the electric system is getting it primed however it will usually prime in a dive. Also I use a spare needle valve to adjust the flow to the muffler. The cost will be about 50 to 60 bucks for the pump, and 60 to 90 for the smoke muffler, plus the fuel tank, neoprene lines, filler valve ( I would use fuel dots), and the needle valve (although you could use a pinch type valve (homemade) on the line. I recently used this on an OS 120 4 stroke on a Weeks Solution and a Goldberg Sukhoi and it worked very well. Rick
