Default Need some help...

...deciding on a new model.

I've "been away" for six months or so, and have no idea what's new, hot, etc.

I've got fairly narrow set of parameters, to go with my Laser 150 (which puts out the same power as a non-YS Jap 120 four-banger)...

1. Weight limit 9 pounds
2. Aerobatic capable (Edge, Extra, Yak, pattern style, etc.)
3. Two piece wing; fixed stabs okay
4. 68" overall length MAX

I was really interested in the AeroTech 74" Yak, but I'm afraid it is just a bit too big for this engine; the Goldberg Sukhoi was. The plane flew fine, but there was NO excess power.

I was also interested in the Goldberg 67" Edge; it looked to be perfect. But speaking with the sour-puss old woman at Goldberg, or Lanier, or whoever owns CGM now, convinced me that I'd better do better elsewhere if I should need customer service. The hardware failures a few have experienced made that decision easy.

I'm really over a barrel here. I want something bigger than your basic 60-size model, but not TOO much bigger.

Any ideas will greatly appreciated...

.

Aero_works has a plane or two that may fit your requirements as well as Wildhare

Thanks, James.

Tom at WH puts out good stuff; he must have gotten into things a bit smaller. I'll have a look.
