ideas for powering a p51 mustang
Any ideas ,iam new to this hobby just bought a p51 mustang 65" wing span, nitro
heed help ideas to build it right motor, retracts ,ect

Honestly, if you haven't flown before put the mustang away. Then check out the beginners forum and this [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4537845/tm.htm]LIST[/link] of trainers. The mustang is a great plane but NOT something to learn on. IMHO

If you aren't familiar with flying, they probably have an instruction program, and possibly a club plane for instruction.
Or, if there's no opportunity for a visit to a flyer's meeting or field, perhaps you could post some pictures and outline your previous experience with RC here. Without those, anyone responding has little to base their comments on.

I am learining to fly on a trainer,however iam going to build a p51 mustang ,just want some ideas from expericenced flyers like best type engine 2 or 4 stroke motor,retacts,ect. this is a 65" wing span

Are you looking at a Top Flite P-51 Mustang 60 ARF w/Retracts or a P-51D Mustang 60 ARF by Hangar 9. It all depends on what your going to build.
