Although I can't help you in finding the ARF version, I will be more than happy to assist you in getting the plans, parts templates and the manual to enable you to build one for yourself. Also, the Waco Brotherhood (found in the Vintage and Antique Forum under the thread Waco YMF) will be most happy to help you with the project. there are over 100 members of the Brotherhood, and it's still growing. It's a great way to spend some time.

I'll be going to Graves this weekend, and I'll check on the availability of the WACO. If he has one, I'd be willing to grab it and pass it along to CrownVic. Let me know if you want me to do that.

Sounds to me like Cox put their customers ahead of profits. A mfg doesn't send back "everything" because they're tired of selling the stuff. "Sending everything back" suggests there was something wrong with a lot of the "everything". And that's not surprising.

It sounds like Cox discovered the mfg's quality was lowering a bar that Cox couldn't afford to lower. A reputable retailer wants to sell quality stuff. And wants to to back that stuff with their warranty. But they have to be able to afford to do the warranty support. It sounds like there was more warranty support required than Cox as a company could afford to do. Otherwise, they'd keep selling the ARFs. Sometimes a retailer has to dump a line of products to keep their own reputation intact. Or to keep their company alive. Cox isn't a very big company any more.

I was thinking that I could buy it and you could send me a pay-pal for it, and I would ship it to you, but if you will pm me with your phone # I will call you from the shop if they have one, and you can call them and do the deal. They do ship.

As posted , there is two for sale on ebay as we speak .
All you do is go to ebay
then under categories hit radiocontrol (its under toys)
then hit vehicles , then airplanes , then unbuilt kits , there are two kits that fit your exact search ,
or simply try Pica Rc Planes in your search on ebay
