RE: KMP CITABRIA 105
Sorry to hear that you gave up your Citabria but good hear that you are working on a new project. Are you going to start a thread for it like you did for the Citabria?
With regard to the PA-12 with the tundra tires, I was in Nortern British Columbia on July 1st, I took a couple of photos of the equipment that is being used to get around up there, I will post them below. I was flying around in a helicopter from a local charter but others use the Cessnas' etc outfitted with tundra tires. The one in the photo is waiting on an engine rebuild.

Great to hear you had success with your first flights. With regard to the struts I do not know if they are required for mechanical integrity but I do know that they help to keep the wings in place if you accidently forget to tighten the wing bolts.

In any case it just doesn't look right without them and even if just for piece of mind, yip struts are needed

RE: KMP CITABRIA 105
I too am the owner Citabria
First I bought a new yellow, then I bought another one from the third owner-blue,complete with Zenoah 38sc.
Blue has been newly covered, has a stronger landing gear and additional built-in flaps
engine is just strong enough for a variety of aerobatic flying
here is just some pics of both Citabria"s
with my Extra 260 88" Pilot RC
