I have been flying this combo for about six months. I love th e ease of the G23. You will not have unlimited vertcal if that is what you want. It is a great all aroung flying A/C. Never had an inflight engine out with the G23. 20 minutes on 16ozs of gas.

Not interested in the unlimited vertical, just want an economical airplane to to goof around with and have some fun without the nervousness and without the mess of glow engines. How did you mount your servos and battery to get your CG right?

I left the servos up front and added 4 ozs on the tail. This is my favorite airplane.

I have to agree with all of the other posts. I use an APC 15-8 and have a blast each time I fly it. Aprox. 2 years now. It's great in the winter with floats on it for the snow.

Default just curious

Does anyone know a good Unlimited Vertical gas engine for this plane (that has been flown). Just curious...I just finished the 40 size and am thinking about the 120.

Default Ultra Stick

Some fellows have flown the Ultra Stick with a BME 2.7. Others have flown theirs with a ZDZ 40cc engine. Unlimited vertical is a piece of cake with either engine. Keeping the model together might be something else...
