Hi There guys,

Are there anybody flying the PC-21 with an electric setup?
Please post photo's and specs.
A video will also be very nice.

I am contemplating making this my first large scale electic!
it will be about twice the pricefor motor speedcontroller and batteries but still less than half the price of a turboprop turbine so i think it is a good compromise between scale sound and price!

Some shots of mine (complements of Chrissy) from last weekend, powered by an OS200, flies like a dream.

The road is a lot further away than it looks. the prop is a 18x8 beila, weight not weighed it I would think about 16lb

Argyris- When do we get to see some videos of your plane in action? You and your friend did an awesome job on the muffler [sm=thumbs_up.gif]. I've often wondered what it would take to make the exhaust come out the "turbo prop" pipes. Great Idea. I'm always impressed by the craftyness of people in this hobby.

Hello,

We are going to make a semi scale set of retracts for the PC-21.
I now have one of the kits and can make them fit the plane without
too much modification.

Just checking to see if anyone else may be interested.
We only have a few orders for them now, but would like to make
a larger run of the retracts.

Let me know if anyone else would be intersted in a Quality set
of Pneumatic Retracts for this plane.

Thanks,
Darrell Tenny

Looks great....
A ZDZ 40 with the rear exhuast , would make a wonderfull compact fit....

Great looking plane.

Anyone know of some of the discounted China Turbo prop companies that are out there????

I know that they are starting to pop up....

I've got a PC-21 about 90% done, should maiden this week, it's setup with an Axi 5330/F3A, Spin 99, 12S 5000 turning a Mejzlik 18 x 10 CF. I've got a build thread over on RCU, I'll post video and close out the build thread once I have a chance to get her flying...

It's exactly 6.25 inches (158.75 mm) from the firewall to the front of the cowl, if you add a little more than 1 mm gap you'd have 160 mm from the firewall to the thrust washer face (for the spinner back plate)...

Regards,

Jack
