RCS 180 vs 140
Should be interesting,
The RCS 1.80 is 3.5 lbs all up (battery, ignition, muffler)
The RCS 1.40 is 2.8 lbs all up.
Save a couple ounces anyway....
I'm planning on smaller tank...like 8-10oz so RTF weight will be light as possible.
Also using 350mah pack for ignition (very small).
1850mah AA pack for radio.
Wonder if lighter servos is a possibility???
Welcome anyone's inputs....thanks!

Katana
I don't think the weight is going to be that much of an issued. My Katana with the Saito 180 with fuel flew well at 14.5 punds, so yours will be about 2 pounds lighter with about the same power or more. I am anxious to hear how yours flys with the RCS 140. When do you think you will have a flight report?

Plane should be here soon...
I ordered the plane on Tuesday...
Should be here VERY soon....
I'll post construction as I go....
Any tips on keeping it super light???
Would a single servo driven central hobbies elevator bell crank work better than the TWO servo option??? That way I could keep the servo forward too....
I found that the RCS is so light that I had CG issues with my H9 Edge. Especially trying to keep radio gear 12 inches from the ignition components.
I'll play with radio placement, mount engine FIRST and go from there....I'm leaving the smoke pump off for now...thinking LIGHT....
I'd love to see some more pics of this plane too...close-ups, motor installations, radio, ect....anyone got time to go crazy with a digital camera and thier GSP Katana??
Think I saw a post on the Hatch modification. I'll go search out...
Thanks!
