Default Black Horse Corsair 50/62cc ARTF

Has anyone got one of these models? If so what is the build/finnish like and are the retracts any good?

Although there was so little information about it, I decided to reserve one. I have to pick it up this afternoon. I’ll tell you my feedback.

What part of the country are you in? I assume overseas. I believe it is not available in the USA yet.

Yes, overseas, I'm in Madrid, Spain. I can tell you that I got it yesterday night and my impression is very positive so far. The quality and material are really good. One of my concerns was the landing gear, but I can tell you that I'm actually surprised with it, looks to have a very good quality and is very well installed. Also the joins of the air tubes are really good. I’ve big airplanes like a ¼ focker wulf, ¼ P51, 1/3 Messerschmitt, … and I used to use Robart and another venders for the air systems, but I can tell you that the one inside the Corsair looks to have a better quality.
Yesterday night I only pull it out from the box and tonight I’m expecting starting with it.
Please let me know if you have any questions about it, I can give any advice.
I’ll keep you informed of the advance of the building.

Xiliam can you post any pics of the plane? Also do you have any pics of your 33% Messerschmitt, it must be huge!

Would a Zenoah G62 be ok for this plane or a lighter engine like a DLE55?

I've a Zenoah G62, I tested it on the cowl. It is need to make a small hole for the candle, there is not needed to make any more damage on the cowl. I don't know how the DLE will fit on it, but I guess that not much more work than the Z G62.

Well it would be nice if the plug would fit in the cowl. But this plane is starting to sound very interesting.

Hi
I am from Malaysia, I have been looking for a good warbird for my dle55 for a long time. This model is available from a local shop and I am seriously considering it. Would really appreciate if you post detailed review and some pictures also as there is very little information available on this plane on the net!

I would think this model will be a bit on the cheap side quality wise. Their other models are not that great. That is just my opinion of what I have seen.

I got it in Madrid, Spain. I got it from Modelimport: http://www.modelimport.com/ (for everyone, it's not an store but it's the imported and distribuitor many products)

FOR EVERYONE: I got very good news, I have ready my Corsair in order to test it next weekend. I'm very happy about it. With a Zenoha 62 engine the total weight was 9,7 Kilograms which is around 17.6 Lbs. I put 0,55 Lbs in the front to compensate the GC.

I was worry about the landing gear, it is not so strong actually, it's a mater of landing properlly I guess

I've some picture in my camera, but still not passed to my computer. As soon as I can moved I'll post it here. Also will ensure to make some pics in the weekend

Keep you posted

I flew my Corsair this yesterday, it was great. At a low speed it was very stable. The landing was great with a low speed with flaps, it was like putting your head on the pillow...

Sorry for the delay on adding pictures, will put some asap.

I installed a Robart tailwheel assembly in my 50cc BH Corsair. It was NOT EASY, but it sure enhances the looks. I am now in the process of putting in a Ziroli 5th scale Corsair cockpit kit from BalsaDynamics, also NO PICNIC!...
