Micro planes
Well, it's about that time of year around here. The weather is starting to get too cold to start engines, and a great migration to indoor flying is starting to begin.
The problem is, I dont have an indoor plane. Does anybody have suggestions for any? What I want is a plane that can fly in a small gym, and still fly outdoors on a calm day. I want something that can fly faster than my walking speed and do more than just fly in circles (ailerons would be nice). I am not much of a 3D person, but I am open to a 3D plane if it can also fly relatively slow. Some things that I have seen are Parkzone's micro trojan and sukoi. Does anybody have experience with those? |

RE: Micro planes
I've had the Parkzone Micro T-28 for about a week now. Overall, I am happy with it. It is somewhat aerobatic but my favorite thing about it so far is landing. When you pull it off just right you can fly it right down to the ground under a little power and make a gentle, picture-perfect landing. I think it would be great indoors as long as you have plenty of room. It is nice outdoors on dead-calm days or with a very slight breeze. any more wind than that and it is a handful though.
