Need help finding a plane
 

I sold all my smaller planes except for this little stinger 10 and my 100 cc yak. I love giant scale but would like one 60-120 size plane for fun flies and lazy day flying.
I have been looking at great planes RV-4 and Hanger 9 RV-8 also looking at the U can do 3d 60 as well.
Of these 3 which would be best and why and if you have something similar suggestions would be good as well

The RV-4 and 8 are both outstanding. The UCD you might not be thrilled with, but you may want to consider a Stik

nah not looking for stick i had one of those before, looking for something that is a floater to do 3d if I want. I know the Rvs really are not 3d type but you can put a good power plant in them and have some fun, looking for something for fun fly type events

how about a Twist 60? Not really a true 3D machine, but still a blast to fly.

IF you just want to have fun - real hard fun, have you considered a profile?

I recently rediscovered the joy of them after having not flown mine for a while. My personal favorite in the size you are asking for is the MoJo but there are others.

Fenderbean. Remember that 3D planes tend to be VERY lightly built, so they really cannot take a a simple hard landing, etc.

They are meant to be flown slowly.

The big exception to this is AussieSteve's idea.

Profiles save weight because of the thin minimal fuse, But at the same time the fuselage can be made of one piece of sturdy hard wood.

So unlike most true 3D planes, profiles can take a LOT of abuse and tend to be relatively easy to repair.

I have a 47" OMP Edge 540 with a OS .70 and I just have been enjoying the heck out of it. I'm looking something to put my YS 1.40 in, it was in a 72" QQ yak until mid summer this year when I totaled it out. I know where I can get another new yak in the box 73" version but I've been toying with the thought of a large profile. I know ohio model products has a 80" profile but I would like more options that 1 to choose from, anyone know of any other manufacturers that make large profiles??
