Who are "you guys"?

You can purchase CA hinge material from any LHS or order it from Tower Hobbies.

Use the Dubro stuff.

Most Asian ARF's come with hinge material that has a plastic substrate.

The fibers will debond from the substrate over time ( c'mon just ask me how I know!!! )....

The Dubro CA hinges have no substrate and hold together much longer.

A small but important investment...

Missing the CA hinges may be a VERY good thing for you.

If you are putting in new hinges, it may be a good idea to go for pinned hinges instead of CA hinges. I found them to be much more safer. Some Asian ARFs, Phoenix for example, come with pinned hinges even on their most basic airplanes. It depends on the manufacturer. I am with Opjose that missing hinge material may actually be a good thing. I have a Tiger 40 with metal pinned hinges
